Above: I took the direct route via unimproved road and drove into a dust filled sunset… less than ideal driving, but great for a photograph.
Once the road cleared a bit more I proceeded to the intended destination, a friendly farmers field. It was there we got some great barn shots.

This last minute nighttime trip was prompted by some nice fall evening weather and the chance of clear skies. Not much to go on, but thanks to Railene for pre-scouting a couple locations we had a nice old barn to paint with light and a lake with virtually no light pollution .

As the sun set we realized this barn was haunted!  We left posthaste for Hasse Lake.
